Do you want to be better at putting into words what you know and want, so that you can convey this to a future employer?
In this workshop you will learn more about how to describe your own personal traits, skills, knowledge and results. This information can be very useful for setting up your CV and cover letter, and for arguing your case in a job interview.
The workshop will answer questions such as:
- Why is it important to be aware of what I can do?
- How do I go about becoming more aware of my skills?
- How can I convey it in such a way that the employer wants to hire me?
The workshop consists of both information and practical work, where we work in pairs, small groups and individually. The tasks will help you become more aware of your skills, knowledge, abilities and motivation. Note that the works...

"Story of a paper..."Ann Lin is a PhD student at Stanford University, and has recently had a stay at the Department of Chemistry as a Fulbright PhD candidate. Ann's research has focused on understanding how drugs work at the molecular level. Her revolutionary work has received attention in e.g. the New York Times. It is no wonder that she is on the prestigious list "Forbes 30 under 30 in Science" Ann will discuss the development, progress, obstacles, and successes of one of her papers, and will include useful tips for students and researchers at all levels!... |

Will be held 7th April at 14.15-16.00 in seminarroom Gleditsch at Department of Chemistry. Professor Ola Nilsen and PhD Stian Kogler will tell you what the internal sensor is looking for in a thesis, what they asses and how to make the sensor happy.
