I am a Researcher at the Mechanics Section with big interest in Experimental and Computational Fluid Dynamics. The main focus of my work is to develop experiments in the laboratory to compare with numerical simulations. During my PhD I worked in the Rigspray Project of DNV, where we looked at the droplet and bubble generation from breaking waves and waves splashing onto different surfaces. I am also interested in electronics and the development of devices to assist the measurements in the laboratory. As a side interest I like to understand the physics of different sports, in particular sports where fluid dynamics is highly relevant, for example, in swimming.
