From September 2019 I will be a Ph.D. student at the Department of Mathematics under the supervision of Riccardo De Bin and Ingrid Kristine Glad, in connection to the Sensor Systems Innovation Objective in Big Insight. My work will focus on statistical and machine learning methods to handle live measurements of big amounts of data from the maritime industry, with the aim of speeding up and improving the current diagnosis strategies.
My background is in Physics: I graduated in the High Energy Physics group in December 2017 at the University of Oslo with the thesis "Dark Matter Gamma-Ray Signal Searches with the Cherenkov Telescope Array". Since then, I have devoted myself to the study of Statistics and Data Science.
