I am interested in the analysis of nonlinear partial differential equations, as well as the development and analysis of numerical methods for nonlinear PDEs. I have worked on, and continue to work on, high-order accurate numerical methods for nonlinear conservation laws, stability and convergence analysis of numerical methods, and lately also so-called measure-valued and statistical solutions of hyperbolic conservation laws. 

I did my BSc and MSc here at the department in Oslo, before moving to Zurich to do a PhD at ETH Zurich under the supervision of Prof. Siddhartha Mishra. I then moved to Trondheim where I got a postdoc. with Prof. Helge Holden, and subsequently an associate professorship for two years before coming back to Oslo this summer.
