Every Tuesday at 10:00 am all the members of the Centre for Bioinformatics and many Bioinformatics/computational Biology researchers in the Oslo region gather for a weekly meeting.
The agenda of these meetings can be quite varied, but some recurring elements are research seminar talks and a monthly round-the-table status updates from the participating members. Updates regarding recently published papers, an upcoming conference, upcoming grant deadlines or any major grant submitted/received by the Centre for Bioinformatics can also be shared by the participants.
Group leaders are responsible for facilitating the weekly seminars. Send an email to Chakravarthi Kanduri (email@example.com) with the title and short abstract of the presentation along with the date.
Everyone takes 2 minutes to share updates on the thematic areas they are currently working on.
Speaker: Geir Kjetil Sandve, Professor at the Centre for Bioinformatics, Department of informatics, University of Oslo
