About me
I am a PhD candidate in the Geometry and Topology group, supervised by Assoc.Prof. Achim Krause (principal) and Prof. John Rognes.
My main research interests lie in equivariant- and chromatic homotopy theory, as well as algebraic K-theory, and the intersection of these fields. Currently I am thinking about if certain aspects of tt-geometry can be used for computations of algebraic K-theory, while trying to learn as much as I can about algebraic topology and mathematics in general. More specifically, I am interested in computing the algebraic K-theory of the integral group rings of elementary abelian p-groups using geometric ideas and methods from tensor-triangulated geometry and higher algebra.
I also enjoy talking about mathematics, both as informal conversations, and as PopSci for a bigger audience! You can find me on Instagram as @eliasqed.
