Hi! I recently began my PhD at the Mechanics Section at UiO, where my research focuses on improving the water harvesting potential of fog nets. The project aims to develop mathematical models describing the fluid mechanics of droplets on complex fibers. Using numerical methods, including finite element and phase-field models, I will simulate the dynamics of thin films and droplets on such fibers. The work is funded by the Sustainability project at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at UiO.

I graduated with a master's degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from NTNU in Trondheim this summer, where I specialized in technical physics. My master's thesis was conducted in collaboration with PoreLab on the Shannon entropy of two-phase flow in porous media. This work was part of a project linking pore-scale dynamics to continuum-scale descriptions of such systems, using a wavelet-based approach for entropy estimation.
