I am happy to say that from October 2021 I am a PhD student working for the Compsci project, a disciplinary PhD programme with intensive training in computational and data science.
My work will revolve around statistical learning and more specifically will focus on boosting algorithms. The goal is to apply these algorithms to graph-structured data such as chemical compounds.
Before joining the team at the University of Oslo, I was a student at the University of Trento. I got my master's degree at the University of Turin with a thesis on the COVID-19 pandemic under the supervision of Professor Andrea Pugliese. I also spent some time abroad at the University of Waterloo.
Having been born in the heart of the Dolomites, in addition to mathematics, I grew up with a passion for climbing and hiking.
