I am an associate professor of statistics in the statistics section on the eight floor.
Before coming to the University of Oslo I was at BI Norwegian Business School for almost five years.
I can find almost any topic in statistics and machine learning interesting. So far I have done work in
high-frequency data and survival analysis, two fields that are mathematically quite similar; some semiparametrics;
some causal inference, and some decision theory. I am teaching large sample theory (Spring 25) and time series analysis (Autumn 25).
My office is in room 817, by the coffee machine.
