I am a new associate professor in statistics at UiO. I received my PhD in mathematical statistics from Aarhus University in Denmark in 2006 and for the last decade, I have worked as a researcher at the Norwegian Computing Center here in Oslo.
My work is within the fields of spatial and space-time statistics, Bayesian methods and forecasting. I work on environmental applications, often together with atmospheric scientists and hydrologists, to solve problems on uncertainty quantification, probabilistic prediction and model evaluation.
