I am a DSTrain-MSCA postdoctoral fellow working on flexible modelling for extreme natural processes in collaboration with Thordis Linda Thorarinsdottir. Before joining UiO, I held post positions at the University of Orleans and at ENSAI, France, where I worked on missing data problems in environmental time series and on machine learning and data mining of extreme values in massive datasets. I earned a PhD in statistical sciences in June 2023 from the University of Padua, with research focused on modelling discrete extreme values. I am keenly interested in interdisciplinary research and am open to exploring medical research topics and also studying the use of AI to predict environmental variables.
