Abstract: The (currently unresolved) PPT2 conjecture posits that a completely positive and completely copositive linear map between two d-dimensional matrix algebras, when composed with itself, becomes entanglement-breaking. After covering the original quantum information theoretic motivation for this conjecture, I will prove that the conjecture holds true for linear maps that are covariant under the action of the diagonal unitary group.
