Title: Realizing subspace-controlled Pauli operators
Abstract: We will discuss our efforts to construct efficient circuit representations for subspace-controlled Pauli operators. This is relevant for instance for realizing the evolution of the excitation operators in second quantization after applying the Jordan-Wigner transform, as well as for constrained mixers acting on subspaces, but can be applied more generally. We will define what we mean with efficient, and present a constructive proof. Since this is ongoing work, we are hoping for a vibrant discussion.
