Scientificness in Mathematical Subjects - Seminar 2

Seminar 2 provides an introduction to the research process in mathematics, with a focus on planning, literature search, methods, use of tools, and data management. The seminar prepares you to start working on a master's thesis.

After completing the seminar you should:

  • Know the characteristics of a master's thesis in mathematics.
  • Be able to find and evaluate scientific literature.
  • Be familiar with tools that are useful in the research process.
  • Be aware of practices for handling research data.
