Procedures

Here are all of LagLivLab procedures independent of if it's a part of our current project or not. Labs listed here are all located at the west side of the Physics building.

Students working together in the lab.

Giæver lab 420

Main lab located in room V420. This room can be used for electronics, microscopy and other activities. Diverse equipment is most likely in this room.

Cell lab 431

Cell lab located in room V431. The room is used for cell growth, passaging of cells and other activities related to cell maintenance. The usage of this room follows a specific SOP rutines for the use of cell culture lab. All users of the cell lab must have direct training from the room responsible person before room can be used. New users must sign the completed training form.

The room can be booked in BookitLab with the following UiO BookitLab user guide.

Microfabrication 128/129

The room for microfabrication is located in room V128/129. This room contains all the equipment and usage for fabricating devices, such as for example photolithography. Microfluidic chips are also begin made in this room, but the procedure is located within Microfluidics project procedure.

Workshop 428

Currently this is where the 3D printer is located in room V428. Please indicate to Dag what equipment is needed when something comes to mind.

Usage

The purpose of this SOP is to describe routines for the use of cell culture lab, room 431 on the 4th floor of west wing in the Physics building.

All users of the cell lab must have direct training from the room responsible person before room is used. New user must sign the completed training form.

The room must be booked in BookitLab. UiO has a BookitLab user guide.
