I hold a doctorate in Crystallography (hydrogen storage) from the University of Geneva, which I obtained as Marie Curie Fellow within the Research Training Network HYTRAIN. Before joining the Department of Technology Systems, I worked as a researcher at the Department of Physics (UiO), and as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute for Energy Technology in Kjeller (Norway). My research is focused on development of novel materials and components for sustainable environmental solutions. I am particularly interested in improving energy storage technologies for renewable energy system applications. My work is highly cross-disciplinary, linking the material- and element-focused research with the system-oriented approach. As an individual, who is passionate about expanding borders, I love to apply my creativity and analytical skills to explore new possibilities, areas and connections.
