Research Interests:
Space weather, space sciences, space technology, planetary exploration
Description:
My main role is being the PI of the optical payload of CENSSAT-1 Bifrost, a space situational awareness CubeSat. I began a PhD fellowship programme in June 2025 at the Centre for Space Sensors and Systems (CENSSS).
I graduated with a degree in Physics and Mathematics from NTNU in 2025. For my master's project, I created a novel method using housekeeping data to detect Solar Energetic Particle (SEP) events at Mars. This method can be applied to any spacecraft with similar housekeeping data.
In 2024 I completed an internship in the Space Weather Office at the European Space Agency (ESA), where I simulated extreme space weather scenarios on Earth.
At CENSSS, I am continuing to study space weather events at various locations in the heliosphere with housekeeping data, in addition to being the Deputy Science Lead for CENSSAT-1, where we aim to understand atmospheric effects of space weather events on Earth.
I also like to do outreach activities.
