Moving to Industry 5.0, the role of human factor will play an important role in shaping the future of cyber-physical systems (CPSs). Unlike Industry 4.0 which focuses on automation and efficiency, Industry 5.0 emphasizes the need for human-centric, sustainable, and resilient approaches. This highlights the need to integrate societal goals and human values into CPS design and operation, ensuring that such systems interact appropriately with humans and serve people in an ethical manner.
Main objective: This proposed master thesis aims to develop a human-centric risk management methodology for complex CPSs that not only focuses on technical risks but also considers the role of humans in CPSs.
