The talk will be a friendly introduction to equivariant vector bundles on toric varieties and their applications. We will highlight their great potential and describe a new approach towards understanding their global sections. No toric background will be required as the purpose of this talk is to explain how such bundles could be used and how both combinatorics and linear algebra are fundamental in their nature.
