Directions

The Norwegian Academy of Sciences is located along Drammensveien, in walking distance from the city center. You find it marked in yellow on this map. From the airport, the best option is to take the airport express train to the station Nationaltheateret (which is the next stop after Oslo Central Station). Leaving the station, take tram 13 towards Bekkestua/Lilleaker until tram stop Skillebekk or Grefsen. You find the Academy on the left hand side of the road, inbetween these two stops. This tram can also be taken from Oslo Central Station, if you choose to leave the airport train here. The walk from Nationaltheateret to the Academy will be about 25 minutes long.

Please make sure that you have valid tickets for the tram. Tickets can be bought at vending machines in Oslo Central and Nationaltheateret (silver coloured), or in kiosks at these train stations. You can also buy from the tram driver, but these tickets are significantly more expensive.
