NASTRAN-talent NASTRAN — Recruitment of Talented Researcher to Norway

As a part of the NASTRAN project, this initiative seeks to strengthen Norwegian research on nonlinear stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs). These equations are indispensable for describing transport phenomena, wave propagation, and complex systems influenced by uncertainty and randomness. Advancing the theoretical understanding of these equations and developing robust and efficient numerical methods for their approximation remain among the central challenges in contemporary applied and theoretical mathematics.

The primary objective of the project is to recruit a highly talented early-career researcher with strong background in stochastic analysis, fractional PDEs, and stochastic equations of transport type. This recruitment will consolidate and broaden the scientific profile of the NASTRAN project at the University of Oslo.
