The recent interaction between quantum information and matricially normed spaces, in particular operator systems, brought several interesting developments in the theory: a new understanding of entanglement through the geometry of such spaces; and quantum magic squares as an interesting source of examples in noncommutative convexity theory. In a related development on the theory of operator algebraic approach to nonlocal games, the algebraic structures behind the projection-valued measures from graph isomorphism problems led to an interesting class of nonlocal games. We expect these interactions to bring forth further developments in quantum information and operator algebras.
In order to stimulate further progress and to educate the next generation of researchers, we bring leading experts together in a focused 3-day workshop.
