Printing at the Department of Mathematics.

How to print

  • Print to the queue "UiO-Print" or "UiOPrintHP" (whichever you see)
  • Go to a printer
  • Beep your card next to the built-in card reader on the front of the printer
  • Select Print Release (or select "Print all" from the top right)
  • Select the printouts you want
  • Select Print

How to scan

  • Go to a printer
  • Beep your card next to the built-in card reader on the front of the printer
  • Select Scan
  • Use either the feeder or put the object on the glass plate by raising the top lid
  • When Scan is selected, you will get an email with the scan as an attachment

Problems?

The print queue isn't showing on my machine 

Linux 

On our stationary Linux office machines, the queue should available to everyone. If it is not, please let us know. 

Mac stationaries

The queue should be there by default, but if it is not, install the setup for Mac yourself. 

Other platforms

Laptops

Install the setup yourself, for Mac (or Windows).

iOS / Android

You will need to install the software yourself: iOS / Android.

Quota overview, printing history, web print

You can see your quota usage, your printing history, and issue printouts via a web form at print.uio.no
