R and RStudio are widely used at the department and are now upgraded to newer versions. R is upgraded to 3.4.3 and RStudio to 1.1.414. We have also increased the default package set for R to now include the following packages:
- VarianceGamma
- fBasics
- rgdal
- rgeos
- ggplot2
- tidyverse
- numDeriv
- Matrix
- copula
- VineCopula
These versions (3.4.3/1.1.414) have been set as standard from our module tree. If you find yourself requiring a previous version of R (or RStudio), the old versions are retained. We currently support the following versions of R:
- R/3.3.1-gcc
- R/3.4.1-gcc
- R/3.4.2-prerelease-gcc
- R/3.4.3-gcc
You can also find this information by asking the module system directly via the command module avail R. Specific module versions may be loaded individually via module load R/3.4.1-gcc and so on. Please report issues to the sysadmin staff, and please include the output of module list in your email.
