Konstantin is an astrophysicist with a focus on the numerical computation of cool star astrospheres, the transport of charged particles in galactic, astrospheric, and planetary magnetic fields, and the (exo)planetary atmospheric response (i.e., climate, chemistry, biosignatures, and habitability) to the variable stellar particle and radiation environment. His research group will focus on the impact of host stars on the origin, evolution, and habitability of (exo)planetary atmospheres.
