Her research focuses on the sedimentological, stratigraphic, and paleogeographic study of Ediacaran sedimentary rocks in the Río de la Plata Craton, using geophysical, paleomagnetic, and geochemical methods. She will be staying at PHAB from September to November 2026.

Micaela Bellante is a visiting PhD researcher from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, who joined PHAB in September 2026 to be supervised for three months by Leandro Gallo and Mat Domeier.
