He will work at PHAB as part of the “Galactic Recipe for Exo-Planets” (GREP) project. His research will investigate how the chemical composition of planet-forming discs influences the formation and composition of exoplanets. By combining models of chemical processes in stellar and protoplanetary discs with dynamical models of planet formation, he will study how the elemental composition of forming planets is linked to their building blocks and feeding zones. The aim is to better understand the diversity of planetary systems and to test planet formation models against observations, including those from the upcoming PLATO Mission.
