About the speaker

Ivar Bergland works as a Senior Innovation Advisor at The UiO Growth House. He has 20 year experience from Technology Transfer Offices at basic and applied research institutions. He holds an MSc from Luleå Universtity of Technology (Sweden) and a business degree from NHH.

The UiO Growth House is UiO’s internal innovation unit that helps researchers and students to develop their innovative ideas. The aim is to put more knowledge to use for the benefit of patients and society. The UiO Growth House provides a series of low-threshold innovation services for researchers, postdocs and PhDs including tailored guidance, financial support and meeting places between academia and industry.
