Memorandum of understanding Japan-Norway

The collaboration between Japan and Norway has reached a new level with the signature of the Memorandum of Understanding in sounding rocket research between Norway and Japan.

The collaboration between Japan and Norway has reached a new level with the official signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding between Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and Norwegian Space Centre (NSC) on Sounding Rocket Research Cooperation. University of Oslo and Andøya Space Center are both parts of the agreement. The signing ceremony took place 16th of January 2015 at the JAXA Hq in Jindaiji Higashi-machi, Chofu-shi, Tokyo. 

 

The event was combined with the scientific workshop at JAXA, during which different aspects of the ionospheric research, with the emphasis on the sounding rocket activity, were discussed. Several members of 4DSpace took part in this successful meeting.
