Academic interests
My research focuses on the solar origins of space weather. More specifically, I am specialized in developing 3D MHD models coupled with multi-wavelength observations, for the study of eruptive flares, prominences and magnetic reconnection in complex topologies. In practice, I am original developer of the Observationally-driven High-order Magneto-hydrodynamics code (OHM), and I use the TOPOlogy and fieldline TRacing code (TOPOTR) for analysis. Also, I am a member of science teams for NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) and ESA’s Solar Orbiter spacecrafts.
Educational background
I obtained my BSc (1994) and the first-half of my MSc in fundamental physics from what is now the Université de Paris. Then I was awarded my MSc (1996) and PhD (1998) in astrophysics by what is now Sorbonne Université. I actually prepared my PhD at Paris Observatory in Meudon, which is now a school of the Université Paris Sciences et Lettres (PSL). I eventually obtained my professorial habilitation (2010) from Université de Paris.
