Gravitational collapse, relativistic structures and scalar fields
In this talk I am going to present an ongoing work to understand the effect of scalar fields on structure formation. The basic scenario is to consider the coupling between spherical relativistic objects like neutron star and white dwarf and chameleon models of scalar fields, first in the approximation of a static solution (work in progress), and later on full dynamical calculation. The idea is to understand in a more physical scenario how much the scalar field is "hiding" due to the interaction with matter, to obtain physical constraints on the scalar field models.
