Measuring the homogeneity of the Universe
We reconstruct in a model independent way both the Hubble parameter H(z) and the comoving distance D(z) via the Hubble and Supernovae Ia data respectively by using several different methods.
Using these reconstructions we evaluate the consistency test for the curvature parameter which it will help us to falsify (or verify) the assumption of the homogeneity and isotropy in the Universe. Also, we provide forecasts on this quantity based on the specifications of the Euclid survey.
