About BiLS
BiLS unites bioinformatics experts from the Departments of Biosciences and Pharmacy, NCMBM, and Elixir at UiO, fostering collaboration across Oslo. It serves as a central hub for bioinformatics research, teaching, and infrastructure, coordinating efforts across UiO and OuS, and supporting researchers and users in the region.
From 2026, BiLS will be located in the new Life Science building. Here, we will be co-localized and will further coordinate bioinformatics efforts in research, education, and infrastructure across UiO and Oslo University Hospital (OUS).
