It is our plan and ambition to hold BiLS seminars on Tuesdays at 10:00 am.
The agenda of these meetings can be quite varied, but some recurring elements are research seminar talks and a monthly round-the-table status updates from the participating members. Updates regarding recently published papers, an upcoming conference, upcoming grant deadlines or any major grant submitted/received by BiLS can also be shared by the participants.

Milena Pavlovic from the University of Oslo will present the next BiLS seminar on "Formalization of machine learning problems for life sciences: insights from the adaptive immune receptor field".
Further upcoming events
December 7th-11th 2026 will see the fifth edition of the Oslo Bioinformatics Workshop Week at the University of Oslo, Norway. This event is organised by the Trainee Committee of BiLS (Bioinformatics in Life Science) at UiO. These workshops are open to the scientific community in Oslo and the surrounding area.
