Title
“Software quality and code review meetings for reproducible science”
Abstract
Team based approaches—such as regular software quality discussions and structured code reviews—improve coding skills, reduce duplicated effort, and raise the overall reliability of scientific software without undermining individual project ownership. This kick off seminar marks the restart of our software quality and code review meeting series for the new semester. Designed for a diverse audience across research groups and disciplines, the session aims to motivate and enable researchers to adopt good software practices. We will highlight why collective, team oriented practices are essential for reliable scientific software. We will also present the shared resources and infrastructure available to support participants. The seminar aims to motivate you to attend and contribute to the software quality seminars and to demonstrate how code reviews can be implemented in your groups.
