BiLS Trainee Committee

The BiLS trainee committee behind OBiWoW—Oslo Bioinformatics Workshop Week—is a dedicated team of trainees advancing bioinformatics education in Norway. Since 2022, we’ve trained hundreds of researchers through hands-on workshops in data analysis, visualization, and reproducible science. Drawn from UiO’s MatNat and medical faculties, and guided by Dr. Lex Nederbragt, the team curates impactful learning experiences. They collaborate with top instructors from institutions like UiO, NMBU, Karolinska Institutet, and Seqera. Passionate, organized, and forward-thinking, the committee fosters a vibrant, interdisciplinary research community and empowers the next generation of data-driven life scientists.
