MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships offer talented researchers a unique opportunity to build and strengthen their research career through international mobility.
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, in cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine, will arrange a digital Master Class 13-14 June for applicants to the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships 2023. The aim of the Master Class is to attract and train excellent and highly motivated researchers to successfully apply for a fellowship. Participants in the Master Class are expected to submit an application (deadline 13 September 2023).
Register
Prospective applicants must register before 1. June to participate in the Master Class. It is mandatory to provide the name of the supervisor you will collaborate with, and to upload a copy of your CV.
In order to attend, you will need to:
- Fulfill the MSCA eligibility criteria (europa.eu)
- Have one of our supervisors willing to support your proposal, and willing to host you in their research group (see link further below for our departments and research centres).
- Prepare and upload a CV with your registration.
Master Class Program
The class is held in collaboration with the consultancy company Innovayt, which has extensive experience with European project proposals.

Placements in the non-academic sector
Postdoctoral Fellowships can provide an additional period of up to six months to support researchers seeking a placement at the end of the project to work on R&I projects in an organisation from the non-academic sector established in an EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country.
An additional 3rd year
The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences offers funding for one extra year for successful candidates applying for the European Fellowships, to enable a total of three years at our institution.
