I am a graduate student in biostatistics and a researcher with a background in the Maternal and Neonatal Health fields. I have a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in “Midwifery” and “Nursing and Midwifery Sciences”. After completing my studies, I approached the perinatal field of research working on a study funded by the Italian Ministry of Health, focused on epigenetics and nutrition in pregnancy. This professional experience made me want to learn more about the field of data analysis and epidemiology and pursue a master’s degree in biostatistics.

As a midwife, I know how important it is to improve clinical trials and observational studies to provide all mothers with the best and safest pregnancy experience possible. As a biostatistician, I would like to combine my statistical and software skills to analyze and interpret perinatal data.

I am honored to have been selected for the International Alliance for PharmacoGenetic Epidemiology Excellence (iAPOGEE) Visiting Scholarship Program 2023 at the University of Oslo and I look forward to learning from researchers and students worldwide and being part of the PharmaSafe research group.
