Academic interests
My research is focused on the theoretical aspects of quantum optics, photonic quantum technology, and quantum information processing.
My interest includes generation and characterization of nonclassical states in optical systems, quantification of entanglement and nonclassicality, suppression of decoherence caused due to environment. I have also collaborated with experimentalists to design theoretical models for the experiments on the generation of engineered quantum states of multimode optical fields.
I have also focused on the quantum communication and cryptography as application of nonclassical states in photon quantum technology. I have studied the minimization of quantum resources required in some quantum communication schemes and performed secure quantum computation of multiparty computation tasks.
I am working on development of theoretical models for non-Hermitian physics and understanding their role in enhancement of quantum sensing.
