Next week we are pleased to host visiting researcher Harmon Maher from the University of Nebraska Omaha, who will show some of his research into clastic dykes in the U.S.

Title: Some peculiar clastic dikes

About: Clastic dikes are fairly common in portions of the White River Group, which are Cenozoic sediments with a high volcanogenic component shed from the west on to the Great Plains. This set of clastic dikes have several distinctive traits that suggest a different formation mode than the standard model with implications for fluid flow during diagenesis.

Room: Midgard Boardroom

As usual, coffee and something sugary will be provided! Hope to see you there,
