Academic interests

Industrial PhD candidate in geophysics with Aker BP working on applied machine learning for seismic data processing. Specific focuses include reconstruction of missing near offset data, and angle stack alignment and conditioning for AVO analysis. Supervisors of Huff's PhD thesis project are Professor Jan Inge Faleide (UiO) and Geophysicist Jan Erik Lie and Geophysicist Aina Juell Bugge (both Aker BP). 

Background

Doctoral Research Fellow (Industry) at Dept of Geosciences, University of Oslo from 2022. Previously, master's in geophysics from Colorado School of Mines, US, researching distributed acoustic sensing for microseismic monitoring.
