Academic interests

My research interest is understanding the dynamics of fluid-solid interaction and their application in CO2 sequestration, seawater intrusion, wastewater treatment, etc.

The research focus of my Ph.D. is numerical modeling and imaging of reactive transport and fluid mixing in evolving porous media. Both numerically and experimentally, I simulate the process of transverse mixing in porous rocks where they can produce carbonate precipitation that may change the porosity of the rock.
