Background

Philippe Renard is also professor at the University of Neuchâtel, Switzerland where he leads the Stochastic Hydrogeology Group. Previously he did his PhD at Mines-ParisTech, and was a senior lecturer at ETH Zurich from 1996 to 2001.  In addition, he has been a research scientist at the french Geological Survey (BRGM) as well as a rural water supply engineer in Guinea.
