FieldEx is an exchange program between Norway, Canada, USA, and Japan for geoscience MSc and PhD students with focus on field work in cold environments. Through FieldEX UiO MSc students have the opportunity to participate in glaciological field campaign in Alaska, Greenland, Ecuador and Canada, organized by our project partners in the US, Canada and Japan. The planned glaciological field measurements depend on the ongoing glaciological projects of the partners.
Potential thesis topics based on the collected field data can be defined based on your interest and background. Students planning to write their thesis based on the data collected during FieldEx campaigns will be given priority to participate in FieldEx field work opportunities.
