We have up to two thesis proposals related to permafrost modelling in high resolution (50-100 m) in selected locations in southern Norway (Gaustatoppen, Jotunheimen). The CryoGRID Community model will be used, and basic data are available for most parts.
The tasks will evaluate the development of permafrost in the past and possibly the future, and possible relations to frost weathering and natural hazards in mountain regions of Norway.
