Numerical computations and computer simulations are nowadays widely used. Examples include weather forecasting, airplane designs, earth system modelling, and many more. Even some machine learning methods rely on numerical simulations to provide the important training data. Most numerical computations need computational meshes (see the picture). However, creating a high-resolution and good-quality computational mesh is challenging and time-consuming.

The objective of this project is to create an on-line portal for language analysis, called LAP.  The effort forms part of the CLARINO infrastructure project and one of the overall goals is to make language technology readily accessible and usable for researchers from the humanities and social sciences.
