Oslo

Travelling to Oslo

Oslo is served by many airlines and three airports. The main airport is Gardermoen (OSL), which has the fastest and most convenient shuttle service by train to the city center.

Travelling in Oslo

The Blindern Campus of the University is just outside Oslo city center and can be easily reached by public transportation from any point in the city. You can get to the campus by subway number 3, 4 or 6 (T-bane, stop: Forskningsparken) or by tram number 17 or 18 (stop: Forskningsparken).

Accommodation

Conference participants are responsible for making their own hotel arrangements. A hotel we commonly use for our guests is Comfort Hotel Børsparken. Located in central Oslo in the up-and-coming Kvadraturen district, Comfort Hotel Børsparken is within walking distance to Oslo Central Station and the Airport Express train. The rooms are quite small, but the rates are reasonable and including breakfast and WiFi.
