In the rapidly evolving landscape of technology, the integration of multimodal interactions within virtual reality (VR) and remote reality (RR) systems is revolutionizing how we interact in digital and distant environments. This talk delves into the convergence of VR, robotics, haptic feedback, and latency management to create immersive experiences.
We will begin by introducing the Sustainable Immersive Networking Laboratory (SINLAB), a playground for experimental research on 5G and Internet networking, networked interactive applications, and the applications of robots and machine learning. Following this, we will present our activities in the HEU IMAGINE-B5G project, focusing on advancements in multimodal interactions for remote presence.
Next, we will showcase examples of our recent work on multimodal interactions and how we can provide immersive experiences in both virtual and remote realities.
Join us as we explore the future of multimodal interactions and potential of these technologies to transform our daily lives. We are also planning a demo session, allowing you to experience these technologies firsthand!
