The Internet and the public press are full of nonsensical statements about climate change. This is harmful because it may cause people to focus on the wrong things,
or stop taking the matter serious altogether.
With this talk, Professor Michael Welzl (ND) will bring some order into the chaos, and present some - perhaps surprising - facts and measurement results.
This will clarify what can help and what might instead not matter - and it will hopefully be inspirational towards truly meaningful research to combat climate change.
