Reducing supply-voltage and power consumption of microelectronics is an important step in order to reach sustainability goals. This is in particular important for wireless devices operating on batteries or through energy harvesting. Such devices are normally referred to as IoT (Internet of Things) nodes, typically combining sensors, data processing / machine learning and wireless communication in a small unit.

The NANO group has recently started new research in this field, and the talk will give an overview of research challenges and opportunities including ongoing activities and industrial collaboration.
